The SinnerThey mark me as a liar.  They say that I’m insane.  They cast me out a sinner,  And they say that I’m to blame.  He created us imperfect,  Prone to deat and sin alike.  For the sin imprisoning us,  Are we subject to His spite?   
I don’t believe He hates me;  My opinion matters not.  With flaming torch and pitchfork,  They spread the lies they were taught.  They bind me, tarred and feathered.  They burn me at the stake.  Like a witch or heretic,  I’m placed in the flames to bake.

The ClosetI’m lying in my closet,  And my back is to the floor.  I wait to be released from it.  I’m staring at the door.  There are monsters on the other side.  They’re thirsty for the kill.  I know they smell me hiding here,  And wish to do me ill.   
There are skeletons in this closet,  And they’re lying next to me,  Decayed reminders of the sins,  Of which I can’t be free.  A spider wanders down the wall.  I’m not allowed to shout.  I’d give them reason to peek in,  And by force drag me out.

WordsI pour my heart out on this page,  The words I am too weak to speak.  I set the bleeding poem aflame,  For fear too many tears have leaked.  My thoughts, my innermost desires,  Flung out bare for all to see.  So why not throw them in the fire?  How vulnerable they would leave me.   
Maybe you will think it strange,  That I should hide so much from you.  What would it between us change?  What could one little poem do?  So ignorant you seem to me,  And ignorant I’ll have you stay.  Those words—if you would ever see—  In seeing, what would you then say?

SwansongTo improvise a sonnet of my love,  Was never very deep within my plans.  This bleeding poet’s heart, an accident,  The same as these love letters in my hand.  So low the moan of longing from my throat,  So loud the cry of anguish following.  If this my bloody deathbed proves to be,  Will you regret not answering my calling?  How beautiful the swan is at its death!  I’m still an ugly duckling while at mine.  They say the swan dies singing as it drowns,  And everyone will listen to it crying.       This is my swansong and my final words,      Swansong

I haven't been on in a while, but I have some news. I AM GOING TO EUROPE! YAY! I have to save up all the spending money I need, but my parents will save the rest, and I'll be in London 4 days and in Paris 5. I am so excited it defies all explanation. I have to stop myself from talking non-stop about it and driving everyone insane. I never thought in my wildest dreams I'd be able to go...
Unfortunately, this means I have to be BABY-SITTING all spring break, but it's worth it. I have $200 saved up; I'll make another $150-200 this weekend, and I figure I want about $1000 in all. Trip is NEXT summer, not this summer. So I have plenty of time.
Since a journal a while back where I was crying because my kitten died, I have gotten a new kitten. She is a black and white long-haired kitty, and her name is Echo Phantom. She is actually a he, but...I wanted it to be a girl, and I saw The Rocky Horror Picture Show right about the time I was naming her and decided she was a sweet transvestite from Transexual Transylvania. LOL.
Anyway, this is getting long-winded, so I should probably shut up and start submitting now. Hope to hear from people soon!
